Aaron was born in 1808. He was the son of Hiram Jenkins and Deborah Ellison. He passed away in 1886.
On July 30, 1833, Aaron went to the Land Office in Franklin, Mo and received the ownership of 240 acres in Pettis County. 160 acres is defined as the East ½ of the NorthEast ¼ and the East ½ of the SouthEast ¼ of Section 32 Township 48 Range 20. Another 80 acres is defined as the West ½ of the SouthWest ¼ of Section 33 Township 48 Range 20. This land is located along the east and west sides of current State Route J in the area of Anderson Road and Miller’s Chapel Road. The Jenkins Family Cemetery is located on the land in Section 33. Aaron and Mary Jane Fristoe was married on Feb. 4, 1836 in Pettis County, MO. [2]
On Sept. 18, 1860 he married Margaret Solomon in Cooper County, Mo. [3]
And then on Jan. 4, 1866 he married Mrs. Ellen B. Miller in Pettis County, Mo. [4]
He was buried in the Jenkins Family Cemetery, Pettis County, MO. [5], but the cemetery fell into disrepair and the descendants of Aaron moved the headstones to Miller's Chapel Cemetery, a maintained cemetery. [6]
