The parents listed for this individual are speculative and may not be based on sound genealogical research. Sources to prove or disprove this ancestry are needed. Please contact the Profile Manager or leave information on the bulletin board. Aerjan Jans was imported or merged as son of Adriaen Meertens de Jongh and Maijken Unknown, but research and of course his patronymic all indicate that he was not their son, so these parents are removed
Note: Father Tennis Arians Crymea was removed as the father of this person (that's a common mistake)."
Aerjan Janss married Geertje Jans on 3 May 1637 in Amsterdam, according the marriage record he was 26 years of age and snijdersgezel (i.e., a cutter's journeyman).[1] It also mentions where he came from but it's hard to decipher and doesn't seem to say Breda? He is present at the marriage of son Hendrik on 9 May 1664 in Amsterdam, so he was still alive and in Amsterdam at this date..

Why this name Aerjan Jans?
The name was decided early on as Jans Aerjan, in this G2G, Any objection to Jans Aerjan as LNAB ID, b. 1608 in Netherlands?, based on the supposed children's patronyms. But later evidence showed that his written name appears as Aerjan Jans, which is a proper patrronymic name.

ps: added marriage record, it mentions where they were from but hard to decipher so perhaps someone can decipher the (perhaps) places of Birth of him and his wife ?
Aerjan Jans is indeed not a son of Adriaens Meertens de Jongh and his wife Maijcken (Unknown.)
These are the children they had according the genealogy everyone seems to use/the family is based on :
So Arien (or Adriaen) Meertens de Jongh married a Mayken or Maria (Unknown) and their 6 children are :
Marten in 1603 (son)
Adriaen or Aryken in 1604 (is a boy/son , not a girl !)
Nieletien of Neelke omstreeks 1605 (girl)
Govert in 1610 (boy)
Engeltjen in 1617 (girl)
Wijntje or Wilhelmina in 1621. (girl) another source (de Rosa one) reveals her name in a deed/akte as Wijlke , sometimes named Wijntje as well.
So this leaves Aerjan Jans , who definetely is not a son (that is as long as no one has some real prove he is )
Per the G2G which is now linked at the bottom of this profile, and the photo image of his name that was provided by Bea for the daughter, and which I have now linked to his profile, and now that the PPP has been removed, I am going to change this name to Aerjan Jans.
He is the correct father of Annetje Aerjans, per that baptismal record.
But his own father previously identifed as either Crymea or as Adriaen de Jongh still makes no clear sense in either case. So those will need more study, to try to figure out how any researchers ever came to those conclusions about his ancestry.
On further review, I think Bea is right that the name should be Aerjan Jans. That seems to be the name in the detail image of his daughter Annetje's baptism record, as seen on Annetje's profile.
But that means that the de Jongh parents attached here probably make no sense patronymically for Aerjan.
I am going to retag the G2G for dutch_roots, to see if that project can make any sense of this ancestor's identity and lineage.
Arians-7 and Aerjan-1 appear to represent the same person because: they were in an unmerged match & the New Netherland Settlers Approval System (http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:New_Netherland_Settlers_-_Approval_System) now has them marked "Green" (NNS Category) and "Orange" (Merge Pending), indicating that the two are ready to be merged. Thanks!
Jans-44 and Aerjan-2 were in an unmerged match with Aerjan-1. Arians-7 is still in the unmerged match, as it has apparently not been reviewed. Also, it appears that Arians-7 has a different father, although he's shown as married to the same wife.
This needs to be done in order to move forward with merging of the spouse and children. However, problems of uncertainty still exist with this identity and lineage, so further discussion should be ongoing in Comments here and in the G2G, post-merge.
per the G2G discussion I am going to disconnect the supposed father Tennis Crymea from this profile, and then move these three matches forward for merge into
