I've still not been able to connect Susannah to her parents.
Interestingly, I see the name Maxwell as a middle name coming up in many Huttons.
My Maxwell line came from Scotland, but still may have roots in Ireland.
Just touching base with you!
Thank you for reaching out to me!
Susanna Hutton-3935 Wierman was my 4th G. Grandmother.
Her children, down, I think, is where there's a direct relationship, but there may be a Hutton connection.
Persue your instincts!
I'd like to see if we're related?
There's no Relationship Finder on your profile.
As you have been a member of WikiTree for a few weeks now, I thought I would check in to see how you are getting on with the site.

Thank you for the note. This site seems like such a nice idea, but I probably should not have joined up especially as a volunteer. I honestly do not have time to learn the processes. I have a difficult time keeping up with keep info I have. I have way too much on my schedule to add this. It bothers me not to be able to really participate. I guess my question now is, what is the best thing to do to discontinue my volunteer status and membership. Thanks very much. Michele Hutton-Anderson
Thank you for the welcome. It's already been a few weeks since I joined. I just wrote Wendy Taylor to tell her I really should never have signed up. My schedule is full, and I don't even have time to learn the ropes or to put together info I have. I use Family Tree Maker and have not been able to contact them much either for assistance. I signed up as volunteer here which I should not have done. It is great to hear from another Hutton, and the WikiTree emails have been enticing in that there are those doing research on Hutton as I am. The collaboration must be great. At any rate I will bow out as soon as Wendy replies to my email.
I am of the branch of Huttons from the three Irish Amish brothers who came over in the early 1700s. My line is the last brother, John, who came over in about 1723. Ancestry also has a Hutton project going, and I've been in touch with a Maurice Hutton who is a co-chair of the project. DNA has verified our ancestry relationship (he's a descendant of another of the three brothers).
I am curious about what line of Huttons you are from and how long they've been here. I don't know other lines of Huttons that came over nor from where or when. I hope you are enjoying this adventure of finding roots as much as I do. Michele Hutton-Anderson.

I understand. It can be time consuming. You don’t have to decide now, but if you do want to close your account, this link will explain the different options https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Closing_an_Account
