Biography

John Hutton was born 14 July 1659, the son of John Hutton and Frances (Stapylton) Hutton.^[1] He married 10 February 1680 Dorothy (Dyke) Hutton.^[2][3] There were at least nine children from this marriage:

• Elizabeth Hutton; born 23 May 1683;^[4] died before 22 May 1759^[4]
• Frances Hutton; born 22 September 1686;^[5] died before 4 October 1772^[4]
• John Hutton; baptised 18 November 1691;^[6] married 5 March 1716 Elizabeth Darcy;^[4] died before January 1768^[4]
• Matthew Hutton; baptised 8 January 1692;^[7] married 12 March 1731 Mary Lutman;^[8] died 18 March 1758^[9]
• Dorothy Hutton; baptised 8 August 1694;^[10] died before 6 May 1696^[4]
• Timothy Hutton; baptised 31 March 1696^[11]
• Barbara Hutton; baptised 8 August 1694;^[4] died before 8 December 1720^[4]
