Biography

Thomas Hulyer was born in 1869 at Kilkivan, in Queensland Australia, and was the son of Flora Lamar and John Hulyer. ^[1]

On 14th July 1898, Thomas Hulyer married Esther Rose Chapman at All Saints Church Woollahra, in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The record states that Thomas Hulyer was 30 years of age, a Butcher, born at Kilkivan, Queensland, Australia, and the son of John Hulyer, a Butcher, and Florence Laming. Esther Rose Chapman was described as 26 years of age, born at Paddington, in New South Wales, and the daughter of James Henry Chapman, a Policeman, and Eliza Garner. ^[2] The couple had five children.

Thomas Hulyer passed away in 1938, at St Joseph's Hospital, Auburn, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. ^[3] He was buried at Rookwood Cemetery. ^[4]
