Orsamus Hull was born 9 December 1815 in Tribes Hill, Montgomery County, New York.^[1][2][3] He was the son of William Hull and Ruth Collins.^[1][2]

He married Catherine Dyer in 1839.^[1][2][3]

He was an insurance agent.^[3]

He died on 9 June 1851 in Tribes Hill.^[1][2][4]
