Biography
Margaret (Howard) Turnbull was born in Ireland.
Margaret Howard was born about 1824 in Ireland. She arrived in New York in 1839 with her parents. Margaret married 17 May 1855 in New York City Alexander Turnbull (c1828-1893), son of James and Mary. In July 1855, they were living with Alexander’s parental family. They lived in New York City in 1860 and 1870, and by 1880 had moved to Manhattan. Alexander and Margaret and their children Adelena and George lived in Brooklyn, New York in 1892. [1] Margaret was buried in September 1899 in Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn with Alexander in his parental family plot.
