OBITUARY.

MRS. DAVID CORMACK.

SIXTY YEARS A COLONIST.

After 60 years' residence in New Zealand Mrs. Catherine Cormack, widow of the late Mr. David Cormack, died on September 28 at the home of her daughter Mre. A. G. McLean, Pencanw Avenue, Mount Eden. Mrs. Cormack was born in South Australia 82 years Miss Honner was married to Mr. Cormack in Australia and came to New Zealand, being in Central Otago for 35 years. Mr. Cormack was in business in several towns in the North Island before he retired and came to live in Auckland, The following children survive:—Mr. J, Cormack, of North Otago; Mr. John Cormack, K.C., of Edmonton, Canada; Mr. W. E. Cormack, of Auckland; Mrs. E. A. Hart and Mrs. D. M. Bourke, of Cambridge, and Mrs. McLean, of Auckland.^[1]
