Bertha A Holtz was born on 4 Jul 1879 in Germany. She is the oldest daughter of Heinrich Holtz and Augusta Schlorf. [1]

Bertha "Minnie" Holtz married William Henry Pfaff on 31 Jan 1900 in Sauk County, Wisconsin. [2]

The 1900 census states Bertha immigrated about 1883 from her birthplace of Germany. Bertha and William lived with Bertha's father, Henry Holtz, and her siblings. Her mother had passed away in April about two years ago. Bertha was working as a housekeeper at this time. [3]

Bertha and William lived in Sauk County, Wisconsin as they raised their children. [4]

Bertha A Holtz Pfaff passed away on 30 May 1967 at the age of 87. She is buried at the Saint Johns Cemetery in Rock Springs, Sauk County, Wisconsin along side her husband William Henry. [1]
