Biography
William Holland is Notable.
William Henry Holland was born in Manchester in 1849.
He married Mary Jane Lund in Skipton district in 1874 [1]. The marriage took place in Kildwick, on 30 September 1874, their fathers were recorded as William Holland and James Lund. [2]
William was elected as Member of Parliament for Salford North from 1892 to 1895, and for Rotherham from 1899 to 1910, and in 1910 he was given the title of Baron Rotherham of Broughton.
He passed away in Rottingdean, Sussex in 1927, aged 78. [3].
