Research Notes

Susan Robatille was in Scotland and found their burial even though she had to erect the stone again. Not sure if she found his grave, but investigation proved the death date from Death Records held by the cemetery.

My daughter Karen and I visited this gravesite in Invergowrie, Scotland in May 2016 and saw his name on the gravestone (under his father's). It was a very difficult grave site to find in the wee town! We actually went there twice where we ended up asking at the Agriculture College - they didn't know, but gave us their call sign & Karen showed it to them on her iPad! Then the girl gave us the cross street. I am sure we spent over 2 to 3 hours looking for this. It is more or less hidden, so not a lot of people in the town are aware of it The church is in ruins as shown in the photo.
