Levi Alexander Henderson is a part of US Black heritage.

Levi Alexander was born enslaved in 1857. He is the son of Thomas Henderson and Ellen A Horah. His mother was enslaved by John M Horah and this may have been Levi's owner as well.

In the 1870 census Levi (age 13), At School, was in Salisbury, Rowan, North Carolina.[1]

Levi was in a Freedman Bank record on 21 July 1873 in North Carolina.[2]

In the 1880 census Livi (age 23), Works in Tobacco Factory, was the single son of Ellen Henderson in Salisbury, Rowan, North Carolina, United States.[3]
