Thomas Hemry Jr. was born on his parents' farm in Christian Malford, Wiltshire, England, about June 1688. He was christened in the Anglican church in Christian Malford, Wiltshire, England, on 23 June 1688. He was the 4th child and 1st-born son of 2, of Thomas Hemry, Sr., 1662-1721, and his wife, Ann (Milsom) Hemry, 1662-1719.

On 25 April 1710 at St. Michael's Anglican church, Melksham, Wiltshire, England, Thomas Hemry married Elisabeth Hayard, 1687–1758. ^[1] The couple had a farm in Christian Malford, Wiltshire, England, and had 6 children (4 sons & 2 daughters):
