Biography
Aljet was born 1833 in Ostfriesland Germany. He is the son of Thees Oeyen Heyen(Heien) (1804–1861) and Luecke Aljets Duis (1804–1891) who were married on 17 September, 1830, in Remels, Leer, Niedersachsen, Germany.
Aljet immigrated to America on about 1 July, 1853, from Asfriesland, Germany according to the 1900 Illinois Federal Census Record.
Aljet married Dena Focken about 14 February, 1857.
