Biography
William Hawley was born 14 June 1731 (baptized 60 June 1731 in Hawleyville, Newtown, Fairfield, Connecticut, son of Benjamin Hawley (1695–1767) and Mary (Nichols) Hawley.[1]
William (27) married Mary Glover (20) (born on April 6, 1739 in Newtown, Connecticut Colony; daughter of Benjamin Glover and Mary (Burwell) Glover) about 1760 in Newtown, Ct. Their children were:
- Joseph Hawley (~1762–~1829)
- Daniel Hawley (1767–1826)
- Anna (1772--1829)
- Mary (1777-1829)
- William Nichols Hawley
