Villiers Francis Hatton was born on August 20, 1787 in Dromana, County Waterford, Ireland, son of George Hatton (1761-1831) and Isabella Rachel Seymour Conway (1755–1825).
Villiers (29) married Harriet La Touche (24) (born on August 21, 1792 in Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland; daughter of Colonel David La Touche IV and Cecillia Leeson). Their children were:
- Cecilia Hatton (1822–1895)
- Villiers La Touche Hatton (1824–1897)
- Elizabeth Frances Hatton (1827–1889)
- Emily Harriot Hatton (1830–1832)
Villiers died on February 9, 1859 in London, England, United Kingdom, aged 71. He was buried at Kensal Green Cemetery, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, London, England.[1]
