Robert Leicester Harmsworth (1870 - 1937)

Harmsworth was the fourth son of Alfred Harmsworth, a barrister, and Geraldine Mary, daughter of William Maffett; and was educated at St Marylebone Grammar School. He was the brother of Alfred Harmsworth, 1st Viscount Northcliffe, Harold Harmsworth, 1st Viscount Rothermere, Cecil Harmsworth, 1st Baron Harmsworth and Sir Hildebrand Harmsworth, 1st Baronet.

1st Baronet Harmsworth. Born in Rose Cottage, Hampstead, London. He held the office of Member of Parliament for Caithness between 1900 and 1918 and for Sutherland between 1918 and 1922. He was created 1st Baronet Harmsworth of Moray Lodge in July 1918. He served as a director of Amalgamated Press. He died at age 66.

He married Annie Louisa Scott, in February 1892 ^[1]

Harmsworth, Sir Robert Leicester, Baronet of Moray Lodge Kensington London and the Manor House Bexhill-on-Sea Sussex died 19 January 1937 at The Manor House. Probate to Sir Hardie Cecil Aubrey Harmsworth, Knight and Frank Bailey Company Director.

He is buried in the East Finchley Cemetery and Crematorium East Finchley, London Borough of Barnet, Greater London, England. ^[3]
