Biography

Born in 1762 according to her memorial plaque in Bath Abbey. No place of birth recorded, and the source for Exter and the specific date above are not known.

Susanna married Josiah Thomas, a parish Rector, in 1794^[1], and they appear to have had two children.

This was a very late marriage, aged 32, and the first child was born when Susanna was aged 39.

Their daughter died within a year of birth, and the couple do not appear to have had any more children after that.

Susannah outlived Josiah, and they were both buried in Bath Abbey Church (SS Peter & Paul)^[2]

• Unable to find a birth record for Susanna, other than the one in findagrave. No source previously provided, nor is there a trace of other Exeter Haringtons as a family, or any similar names (one Harrinton, but not a Susanna).

• No marriage record found on familysearch, only on findmypast for some reason.
