Hi PM. I am going to re-propose the rejected merge from three weeks ago as, although the dates are different, they are clearly meant to represent the same person and relationships. If you have any reliable sources to show they are different people then it would be great if you could add it to the profile. If these two profiles do indeed represent the same person, they need to be merged, and any conflicting data about dates can be explained in the profile. Cheers, Elizabeth co-leader England Project.

Hanbury-256 and Hanbury-2 appear to represent the same person because: Clear duplicates - same husband. Dates are all guesses so can be safely accounted for.

Unfortunately just setting the birth date to uncertain does not resolve the problem. The dates just dont make sense:

Parents born in 1516 and 1515 cannot have had a child who was herself a mother to a child born in 1529.

The dates on this profile and her parents still are in conflict: If she had a son born in 1529 then a birth date of 1509 would be a good estimate: but in that case she cannot have been the daughter of parents born in 1516 and 1520. Do you have any sources for any of these dates - then we would know which profiles need to be corrected

Sorry, it could be that Joyce Hanbury's birth date is incorrect; my information on Myheritage.com family tree has her parents as: John Hanbury 1516-1590 age 74 and Elizabeth Broade 1520-1580 aged 60 ; it could be possible that Joyce Hanbury was born in 1540 or later, instead
