Biography

Blair Thomas Hamilton was born on 27 Nov 1922, in Braddock, Pennsylvania. His father, William Boyd Hamilton II , was 37 and his mother, Clara Elizabeth Fagan, was 36. He was their youngest child.

In 1930 he and his family lived in East McKeesport, Allegheny, Pennsylvania, USA. He lived on Hilda Avenue. [1]

On July 7, 1938, Blair's father, William Boyd Hamilton, was tragically run over by a truck and suffered internal injuries that caused his death. His daughter LaRue Hamilton Cronin was the informant. She supplied the information concerning names of his parents. He was 53 years, 6 months, 12 days old at the time of death. He died in New Kensington, Westmoreland County, PA. [2]

In the 1940 Census, Blair and his mother are living in Patton, Allegheny, Pennsylvania and Blair is 17 and in high school. [3]

Blair enlisted in the Army on June 11, 1941, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, during World War II. He was 18 years old. He served in the United States Army during World War II. [4]

Blair married Frances Jewel Van Slyke. Blair passed away on JUNE 18, 1963 in Robbins AFB, Georgia, USA. He is buried in Carterville Baptist Church Cemetery in Forrest County, Mississippi, United States of America. [5]
