William was born about 1765. William Hall ...

A Guardian Bond was ordered on May 4, 1812 for "Thomas S. Carter, David S. Booth and Joseph Griffin...appointed guardian to Blake Hall, Alcy Hall, John Hall and Thomas Hall, orphans of William Hall."[1]

Probate

"Georgia, Elbert CountyI, William Head, do sollomnly swear that William Hall - deceased, died without any Will as far as I know or believe, and that I will well and truly administer all and singular the goods and chattles rights and credits of the said deceased and pay all his just debts as far as the same will extend and the law requires and that I will make a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods and chattles rights and credits of the said deceased and ajust return thereof when required.

Sworn to in open Court this 7th day of Sept 1812.

Hi cousin Mags. I assume you haven't found our genetic connection yet. I have just now seen your note or saw it some time ago and forgot to respond. I wondered if you found anything on these lines. Much of what we know and what has been posted here was from a cousin that'd many connections to Elbert County GA. It was my understanding that he was going to have all of his records sent to the U of GA and that was apparently all set up prior to his death. He died a number of years ago. Many branches of the family considered Chandler the best source for genealogy information. Last time I saw him was outside the funeral home after my father's death. He was ill then but getting around.
