Biography
Edward was born about 1720 and likely baptised at East Dean Sussex England, the son of John & Sarah Haben [1]. He married Mary Merritt on 7 Oct 1750 at Amberley Sussex England; he is stated to be from Eastergate Sussex and Mary of the parish of Amberley Sussex England. There appears to be no further record of Edward & Mary until 1763 when she is mentioned in her father John Merritt's will to receive ten pounds from his estate [3].
