Biography

Aaron Griffin served with 2nd New York Regiment, Continental Army during the American Revolution.

Aaron Griffin is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A204002.

Aaron Griffin was born circa 1758 in Connecticut. He was the son of Elnathan and Patience Burr Griffin. He was baptized on 2 July 1758 at Congregational Church, Redding, Fairfield County, Connecticut.^[1][2]

He married Lois Lewis circa 1780.^[3][4]

He appeared on the census of 1790 at Canaan, Columbia Co., New York.^[5] He appeared on the census of 1800 at Minden, Montgomery Co., New York.^[6]

He died in 1820 at Bridgeport, Onondaga Co., New York.^[4][7]
