Brian was an avid researcher of his GRAY family roots regularly visiting what is now ScotlandsPeople to find any newly published additions to the tree, along with untangling cryptic parish register entries. He freely shared his findings with fellow enthusiasts.
It was my pleasure to finally meet up with Brian after corresponding for some years about our mutual interest in John GRAY and Margaret FOWLER trying to prove my branch was an undocumented son of John and Margaret, and swapping notes on the assorted Caithness GRAY families.
It was also a great shock to hear of his sudden death and hard to believe that is now over a year ago. Time to open up his profile for anyone with anything to contributeHenderson-2297 16:51, 29 November 2016 (EST)
