Ernest married and was an Airman in the Air Force. He served as a Sergeant with The Air Police during World War II.
He. was injured on 20 December 1952 when a rifle accidentally discharged at Lockbourne Airforce Base in Franklin, Ohio. He died 6 days later on 26 December 1952 at the age of 25. Cause of death: Acute Peritonitis/Accidental Gunshot wound to the abdomen/Acute Cystitis etc[1]
