Biography

Ann Grant was born in 1838 in Broadford, Inverness-shire, the daughter of Lauchlan Grant.

As a 12-year-old, she migrated to Australia in 1852 aboard the ship 'Georgiana'.^[1]

She married Robert Anderson on 1 February 1859 in Ballarat, Victoria.^[2] They had 16 children during their marriage, including:
