Ann Grant was born in 1838 in Broadford, Inverness-shire, the daughter of Lauchlan Grant.
As a 12-year-old, she migrated to Australia in 1852 aboard the ship 'Georgiana'.[1]
She married Robert Anderson on 1 February 1859 in Ballarat, Victoria.[2] They had 16 children during their marriage, including:
Ann died on 4 May 1916, in Clifton Hill, Victoria, aged 75 years.[3]
