In the 1891 census Robert (age 16) was the son of Thomas Graham in Padiham, Padiham, Lancashire, England.[2]
Robert was in a British Army World War I Service Military record. His service number was 9395, in the Lancashire Fusiliers. [3]
He married Elizabeth Ann Ireland on 20 Sep 1897 in Padiham, Lancashire, England. Robert was 22 and Elizabeth was 21 when they married. Her father John Ireland's occupation was recorded as a weaver, whilst Robert's father, Thomas Graham was recorded as an agent (insurance).
