Biography
Jane was born about 1814 in County Tyrone, Ireland daughter of Hugh Graham (farmer) and Jane Gallagher. [1] [2].
She married Robert McCarron in Ireland around 1835.
They had 6 children, all born in Ireland, and in 1864 they came to Victoria on the "Southern Ocean" - departing Liverpool 7 Nov 1864 arriving in Melbourne 8 Feb 1865. They travelled with daughter Matilda and her family, and son Hugh. Unfortunately, daughter Matilda and two of her sons died on the journey. [3],
