Biography

Catherine, the daughter of John Graham, in Inchbrakie, was born in around 1575. At the age of about 27 years she would marry Archibald Campbell, ^[1] the son of Sir Duncan (Black Duncan "of the Cowl" or "of the Seven Castles") Campbell, 7th of Glenorchy, 1st Baronet, and Jean Stewart, the daughter of John Stewart, 4th Earl of Atholl, Lord Chancellor, and Margaret Fleming.

Together, Archibald and Catherine would have two children:

Duncan Campbell, 2nd of Lagvinsheoch and Monzie, (1603-1647)

Margaret (Campbell) Tosheoch (ca. 1606- )

Catherine would die in 1607, possibly in childbirth.

Research Notes

Her birth date is based on her father's death date The Red Book of Scotland states that she is the daughter of George Graham, 2nd of InchBraikie, who married Marjory Rollo ^[2][3] Another book "“Or and Sable : A Book of the Graemes and Grahams" also states the same.^[4]

The book also states that she had 2 children, Duncan, 2nd of Lagvinsheock and Monzie, and Patrick of Glentarken who married Catherine, daughter of Patrick Murray of Ochtertyre.

I found nothing about John being her son. Archibald did have a son called John, but his mother would have been Christian Robertson (they married in 1614) ^{[5] [6]}
