Biography
Samuel Charles Graham was born July 6,1906, the son of William Graham and Ellen Pike.
In 1911, he lived with his parents on their farm in township 33, range 1 west of the fifth meridian, an unnamed part of the Red Deer District.[1]
He was married to Jessie Evelyn Ames on Aug. 21,1930 in East Kelowna B.C.; attended by George A Graham of Armstrong and Florance Macil Alberta Ames of East Kelowna.[2] They had six children: Melcolm Samuel Graham, Wilbur Charles Graham, Marlene Evelyn Graham,Eleanor Elizabeth Graham,Erma Charmaine Graham, and Wayne Lester Graham.
He passed away on May 24,1985.[3] "Sam leaves his loving wife Evelyn and sons Malcolm, Wilbur,Wayne and daughters Marlene,Charmaine he was predeceased by daughter Eleanor in 1941."
He was a scaler by trade and worked in sawmills.
