Biography

Jan Jakob died during the North Sea flood of 1953 along with his parents. He is listed as a victim of the flood on DeRamp.nl.[1] They lived at farm house "De Hoge Moer", north-east of Kruiningen, along with the family of his mother's uncle Dirk Balkenende and his family, who also drowned.
