Mrs. John McGlothlin Dead After Operation: Leaves Five Children
Mrs. Ruby Louise McGlothlin, 26, wife of John McGlothlin, 408 Jefferson street, died Sunday night at 8:30 o'clock at St. Elizabeth hospital of complications following an operation which she underwent a few days ago.

Born Oct. 11, 1906, in this city, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Gipson. Her entire life was spent in this city, where she was a member of the Congress Street M. E. church. Besides her husband she leaves five children: Alexander C., Ruth Louise, Betty Lou, James A., and Martha Jane, also her mother, Mrs. Albert Gipson, three sisters, Mrs. Ruth McGlothlin, of this city: Mrs. Eva Guine, of Danville, Ill., and Mrs. Bertha Phillips, of Indianapolis, and a brother, Will Gipson of Elston.

The body was removed to the Templeton funeral home and Monday evening was to be taken to the residence, where friends may call. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock from the residence, with Rev. C. L. Harper officiating. Interment in Isley Cemetery.^[4]
