William Jepson was born 3 June 1722, Wells, York, Maine to parents William "Gepson" and wife Elizabeth (Boothby) Gepson. ^[1]

Marriage and Children
William Jepson married Abigail Varney ^[1] Abigail was the daughter of Jonathan Varney from York who mentioned his son-in-law in his probated Will. [Jacobus, p.11-15 quoting York Probate Records, Vol. 17, p.35: Docket 19339] ^[1] Based upon Berwick Friends records Abigail was the daughter of Jonathan and Elizabeth (Varney) Varney of of Dover, New Hampshire, Berwick and Wells (York county, Maine who was born 31. 5mo. 1765 ^[2] [ Jacobus, p.11]
