Eddie was Chickasaw.

Eddie was born 25 Sep 1893 in Jeff, Pontotoc County, Chickasaw Nation, the son of Albert Gipson and Malina Chickasaw. Eddie passed away 16 Nov 1932 at Stonewall, Pontotoc, Oklahoma. He is buried at the Franks Cemetery, Franks, Pontotoc County, Oklahoma.[2]

On 20 May 1903, William Gipson was appointed Guardian of Abner and Eddie Gipson.[3][4][5]
