Although some sources list Nancy (Nannie) as the daughter of Thomas and Agnes, one Gibson family genealogy (from Mrs. J.E. Howe of Hamlet, NC) records Nelson Gibson and Bedie Robertson, as Nancy's parents and Thomas and Agnes as grandparents.
Thomas was born 1735 and died 06/1804 in Richmond, North Carolina. There is evidence that he was a Sergeant during the Revolutionary War for NC in 1782. Research continues.

Added mother of Thomas Gibson, 1/2 brother of Nelson Gibson through their mother. Still no proof of a Ziba Gbison as parent of either Thomas or Nelson Gibson.
There is absolutely no proof Ziba Gibson ever existed in Anson Co. (or at all) as the father of Nelson and Thomas Gibson. If anyone can show sourced and documented proof, please provide it. Otherwise, Ziba Gibson should be disassociated as the father.
