Their family were the lighthouse keepers on Saturna Island. "Arriving in 1889, James and Joan Georgeson were the first light keepers at East Point. The job officially passed to their son Peter in 1921, and subsequently to Peter's brother Henry, who ran the light station from 1939 to 1940."[3][4][5][6][7]
Peter married Ellen Aitken on 9 Aug 1920 in Victoria, British Columbia.[8][9]
He was the keeper at the Albert Head Lighthouse (near Esquimalt) from 1939 to 1956.[10]
He passed away in Colwood, British Columbia on 27 Feb 1968.[11][12] He was buried in Hatley Memorial Gardens in Colwood, British Columbia.
