I have information on the Garners of Wright County, MO, but can't make the tie to the Garners of Virginia - not sure it is there. Mansfields - Stuck on William Mansfield of Westmoreland County, PA - possible two directions from there.... Peter Sturr of New Jersey, migrated to Cass County, MI had a daughter Mary - She died young and Peter and Catherine cared for her daughter Josephine - what happened to Mary?

I was born in Seattle, WA; was displaced to Southern California at age 14. Graduated HS in Huntington Beach, CA. Went to one semester at the University of North Dakota, joined the Air Force and spend my 4 years at McChord AFB south of Tacoma, WA. Returned to Southern California after the Air Force, married, had a son, divorced, remarried and in 1993 moved to Chandler, AZ where I reside now.

My parents are LaVerne Garner and Alice VanGilder. The Garner migrated from Wright Co, MO to eastern Washington and then Alaska. The VanGilders from Cape Girardeau, MO to western Washington and then Alaska. The Mansfields on my mother's side moved from Cassopolis, MI to western Washington and the Petersons on my father's side immigrated from Sweden to eastern Washington.
