In the 1931 census, Jerald (age 6), Student, was the son of Albert Edward Fremlin in Clinton, Huron, Ontario, Canada.[1]
He edited the 1974 edition of The National Atlas of Canada. Gerry enlisted at age 17 and was bomb-aimer RCAF 1942-45.[2]
In 1976, he married Alice Munro, a writer, as her second husband. The couple moved to a farm outside Clinton, Ontario, and later to a house in Clinton, where Fremlin died on 17 April 2013.
