Biography
Ennis Franklin was born 22 Sep 1799[1] in Virginia.[2]
He married Elizabeth Donalson on 15 Oct 1855 in Nicholas County, Kentucky at the home of James Snap. John Holladay performed the ceremony and James Snap and his wife were witnesses.[3][4] The marriage bond was signed by Enis Franklin and James R. Poicel (sic Purcell)[5]
Ennis and Elizabeth had the following known children:
- John Harvey Franklin was born about 1854 in Kentucky.[2]
- Thomas I. Franklin was born about 1856 in Kentucky.[2]
- William W. Franklin was born about 1858 in Kentucky.[2]
- James A. Franklin was born about 1860 in Kentucky.[2]
Ennis died 01 Nov 1868 and is buried in Bethlehem Cemetery, Nicholas County, Kentucky.[1]
