Charles Foxcroft M.P. is Notable.
- Captain Charles Talbot Foxcroft M.P. (1868-1829) was the son of Edward Jones and Wilhelmina Robertson-Glasgow.
- In 1911 on his father Edward Foxcroft`s death, he succeeded to the estate. After twice contesting the old Frome Division unsuccessfully he became M.P. for Bath, which City he represented for ten years until his death in February, 1929. Captain Foxcroft's sisters, the Misses Helen, Margaret, and Cecilia Foxcroft continued living at Hinton House.
- He died unmarried dsp on the 11th of February 1929 in Hinton House, Hinton Charterhouse nr. Bath, Somerset.
