Biography

Elizabeth was born in 1881. She was the daughter of Luther Foster and Mary Lou Curtis. She graduated from N.M. State College in 1902. She toured Europe in interest of her Art Studies. She studied Design and Graphic Art in Chicago,Il. and Tinting in Los Angeles, CA. Miss Foster taught English and Music in Las Cruces, NM High School, taught English in Casper WY High School, was assistant Instructor in English at N.M. State College. Miss Foster was an active member of the P.E.O., American Assoc.of University Women, Wednesday Literary Club, Mesilla Valley Garden Club and the Saturday Club. She is buried in the Masonic Cemetery in Las Cruces, NM. She passed away in 1932.
