Biography
Balthazar Walter Foster was born in Cambridge on 17 July 1840 [1]
He married Emily Martha Sargant in 1864 in Kings Norton, Worcestershire [2]
Balthazar was elected MP for Chester in 1885, which he held for just a year. He was returned to Parliament in 1887, representing Ilkeston, he held this eat until 1910.
He passed away in 1913 in London, aged 72<[3]
His obituary, outlining his political career and medical achievements was printed in The Westminster Gazette, dated 31 January 1913, and showed he was buried in Brookwood cemetery [4]
