Biography

Grace (Fisher) Davenport was born in Ohio.

Grace was born Deceember 7, 1864 in Cincinnati, Hamilton, Ohio to Martin Fisher and Susan Morgan.

At age 16 she married Benjamin Franklin Tait on September 20, 1881 in St Louis, Missouri. They had two children together. They divorced sometime just before June 1900.

She remarried again at age 41 to James Edgar Davenport on May 2, 1906 in St Charles, St Charles, Missouri. They did not have any children together.

She passed away September 28, 1942 in Chicago, Cook, Illinois. Services were held at St Paul's Church in Markham, Illinois on September 30, 1942, with interment at the Mount Greenwood Cemetery in Chicago, Cook, Illinois.
