OBITUARY: LENA FERN FISHER WHITESEL
L. Fern WHITESEL, 90 of Lucust Grove Retirement Village and formerly of Mifflintown RD1 died Monday, January 16, 1984 at the center. She was born November 8, 1893 in Milford Township, Juniata County, the daughter of the late William and Mary RODGERS FISHER. Her husband William E WHITSEL died in 1977.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Earl (Miriam) EVANS and a son, Kenneth W both of Mifflintown RD1; and three grandchildren. Mrs WHITESEL was a member of Trinity United Methodist Chuch of Mifflin.
Services were held at the Brown Funeral Home with the Rev. Douglas KOHR officiating. Interment was in the Presbyterian Cemetery.
