Biography

Ida Fynes-Clinton was born circa 1835 at Welham, Hertfordshire, England. She was the daughter of Henry Fynes-Clinton and Katharine Majendie. She married Lieutenant Henry Negus Burroughes, son of Henry Negus Burroughes and Jane Sarah Hoste, on 21 June 1855 at Burlingham Hall, Norfolk, England. She married, secondly, James Hollway, son of James William Scarlett and Anne Rhodes Williams Brown, on 8 July 1858.

From 21 June 1855, her married name became Burroughes. From 8 July 1858, her married name became Hollway.
