In 1930, he was a student at the St Charles Seminary, Marion T[ownshi]p, Mercer, OH. Ordination on Dec 3, 1933, Holy Priesthood; C.PP.S. (Missionaries of the Precious Blood). He was ordained early out of fear that he would die young due to TB. He actually served in the Priesthood for 35 years. Passed at the Franciscan Medical Center, Dayton Campus (now St Elizabeth's Hospital).
