I and my cousin(s) have a growing number of DNA matches identified as sharing Valentine Ellen and his wife Elizabeth Ann Carter.

Back from that couple it appears likely that the connection is via Valentine's paternal Featherstone grandmother as more matches are also being identified who share descent from either Thomas or Robert, sons of this couple, Robert Featherstone and Mary Austin.

Am I finally getting some more clues as to my mysterious William Austin's ancestry?
