Biography

Robert Aram Farnsworth, son of Adonijah Farnsworth and Hannah (maiden name unknown), was born on 8 November 1773 in New Jersey, or on 18 November 1773 in Loudoun county, Virginia. [1]

Robert wed Mary Kirkbride (b. 20 Oct 1770 in Hampshire, VA) on 4 February 1796 in Hampshire county, Virginia. [2] Robert and Mary had the following children: [3]

  2. John Farnsworth, born 20 Mar 1797 in Hampshire County, Virginia, died 19 May 1850 in Wayne, Monroe County, Ohio;
  3. Hannah Farnsworth, born 30 Jan 1799 in Hampshire County, Virginia, died 01 Apr 1835 in Wayne, Monroe County, Ohio;
  4. Catherine Farnsworth, born 03 Mar 1800 in Wayne, Monroe County, Ohio, died 28 Feb 1871 in Appanoose, Iowa;
