William assumed to be James' nephew, son of, the recently late, William, and Janet (TAYLOR), who is not with his mother and sister in 1841. This would provide the missing link to id that William into the family, with Mary being James' wife. This id being aided by the 12 year old William not being born in Roxburgh County [2]
