Biography
Elenor was born 3 Jul 1865 in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada. [1] Thomas Nassau Irvine and Elenor Kathleen Fairbairn married 10 Jun 1891 in Melfort, Saskatchewan, Canada. [2]
They raised their family on the farm in Pleasant Valley, Saskatchewan. In 1911, they had 8 children at home. [3]In 1916, the family was all on the farm except Gilbert, who had enlisted. [4] By 1921, Eldon, Ruth and Arthur had moved on and Gilbert was back helping his father run the farm. [5] Elenor had sugar diabetes. Her foot was amputated 10 September 1932. [6] Elenor died 8 Nov 1940 and was buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Melfort, Saskatchewan. [7]
